Hi! My name is Leah.

I began my career as an assistant photographer at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C. Three years later I packed up my bags and moved to NYC not knowing a soul.  I was extremely fortunate to land photo editing jobs at Vogue and Men's Journal Magazines. After working in editorial, I moved onto television and worked as a Photo Director for MTV Networks for 6 years.

I love capturing the genuine connections that make every family unique. Whether it's playful moments with kids, heartfelt family interactions, or timeless portraits, my goal is to create authentic images that preserve life's most meaningful memories for years to come.

When not working, I enjoy hanging out with my little hot dog Sarah, my kids Emmie Sue and James, and documenting life in the Mississippi Delta and Atlanta.
